    Hi Diana

went back to ENT consultant yesterday, he checked everything, everything looked normal, he said I have to stop juicing for 2 weeks and have allergy tests, I started juicing when the peri started hoping to get Nutriants that I might be missing, looks like not the best idea..lol. He also said as another doc said the the hot feeling, is definately to do with peri, since I have had bloods done on my thyroid and vitamins, all ok. So I think this is one I will just have to ride out. I can handle it if I know it's nothing serious. Good yo know we're not the only ones. Best of luck xxx

Hi Sue pleased you got sorted out almost just wondering about this burning mouth syndrome do you feel like it's there 24/7 lol. Does it feel like it's the roof of your mouth and just behind your front teeth feels like there is a sore there which just looks like a little ulcer that's how I explain mine and of course the horrible metalic taste there's just no way of getting away from it.I do think stess can make your symptoms worse because when I'm occupied I don't seem to notice it even though I know it's there one day we will be sorted xx

      Hi Glitzy

mine is my tongue and the back of my throat, it looks quite inflamed, yes it there daily, but I agree with you there when I'm occupied I don't notice it, I have had all bloods done yo check b12 and thyroid all normal, it all started about 8 months after the peri started, I'm having my bloods done for allergies in a week so will keep you posted on the results. The ENT consultant just said with the hormones been all over it can cause all these feelings, bloody nightmare, I'm starting to feel like a hypochondriac with all these feelings 😁😁xx

This is normal it does go away in time hang in there ladies I went through it for a few months but it did go away just another menopause symptom

Hi there! I went through all the checks 😯

So far superior good. Burning Mouth Syndrome is not related on food or anything else. The Doctors can not say for sure Stress or Hormones cause it. I am in UK. Chewing gum helps.

      Good luck!

Hi diana in April I was diagnosed with Burning Mouthe Syndrome. It started in August -was terrible. Still got it. What helps is chewing gum. It will get better. It's 10 months now and I still got it but I have days free now and not so bad how it used to be.

    Hope you are better.

      Hi Natallia

      I

Thank you for your reply. In march of 2015 it started for me I've been through a world of tests. What helps me now is cold water cold yogurt and ice chips. I'm so much better. I never got a final diagnosis just opinions from my GYN and primary. The condition syndrome is so rare. Good luck feel better

Hi everyone, I just want to thank you all so much for posting all of this information and sharing your experiences. I have been enduring this pain for over 5 weeks and only today saw an ENT specialist, who didn't see anything on the surface so I'm researching what else can be going on. Your posts really helped me to calm down. I'll keep looking for more information on this. Wishing you all much relief and a wonderful weekend.
