Menopause Related or Not?

Hi lovely ladies
Hope that you are all staying positive despite the constant changes that are happening.
Just a quick question to whether anyone else had had issues with their throats?
Mine either has ulcers or it feels like a lump stuck that no amount of drinking or eating gets rid of it.
This has only just started with me, I have had the sweats, dry mouth and all the aches in places that I didn't realise I had places!!
This journey has been a nightmare so far and every week it seems like a new symptom arises!
Sending love to you all.....Keep smiling it confuses people 😃

life suddenly becomes unbearable
, I get so tired, I manage to work because I have to.
My weight gain problems depress me so much
and my eyesight has deteriated too (well that's nothing to do with the menopause of course) but I feel like my body has been hit with a bulldozer..........
I have tried several kinds of HRT to no avail, they give me headaches and don't really help apart from making me have bleeding
Oh well, sorry to hear your one of us
Take care hun

A few weeks ago I posted a discussion which listed over 100 anxiety symptoms. Try to scroll through and find it. Hope you're feeling better soon.

i have had throat problems since December last year, I have a constant hot feeling and feel like I have something to cough up, which in turn causes the hotness, I have had all sorts of medication, in the end went to see ENT, he said silent reflux and gave me some omesprozle for two months to take twice a day, it was still happening, so he said then it must be allergies and gave me a steroid spray for my nose and I after say it did work, but he also told me to still take the omesprozle if I felt I needed it. I still get it my GP said that it is all part of peri and not to worry. Hope you get yours sorted soon I know how annoying it can be xx

When you next see gp ask for a B12 blood test. Do you have a shiny red tongue at the moment? Ulcers, red tongue and a host of other things including the flushes could be a lack of b12. I know from personal experience! Are/have your periods been very heavy?
If you decide to have bloods done please do not self medicate any form of b12 as it will alter any result. It is easily remedied if that is the problem.
i got all this after the meno so i know it is not necessarily peri causing it.
take a look at b12 deficiency on the net and see if you can relate to any of the other symptoms.
hope i have helped
