Migraine question

Im a little spooked about something which happened today, recently i have been having a migraine every other week, but it feels odd i had a migraine with completely zero aura and pain which is abnormal for me.

Usually i have aura then episode of blindness then pain half way through

This time it was sudden, i saw a little patch of blindness this then covered my entire left eye and a small part of my right eye with no pain the blindness took about 10 minutes.

After 30 minutes the blindness left and then about 10 after that i had pain.

My question is could it have been a miniture stroke? it was fast compared to usual migraines the lack of pain was alarming and i felt like everything was slow when it happened it also triggered a panic attack as well.

Still im confused about what it was.

Today i have been tired, a little stressed and was very very thirsty for some strange reason before it triggered and i was on my mobile watching youtube when it happened.

I had that last weekend .. was making breakfast and it just covered my left eye gradually over 2-3 mins and lasted 30.. I get them with zero pain ever... I've been to two optometrists and my gp and all have diagnosed me with ocular migraine.. it's like migraine but it doesn't come with the pain... usually Mini strokes come with many more mini strokes the days after it happens smile

Ah that helps me out, im autistic so i can get worried very quickly got myself a doctors appointment but where i live has quite a pathetic system, currently i have to wait for practically two months.

Do your ocular migraines cause some speach distortions, my migraines weird me out, i had one similar to this a few weeks prior and i feel as my speech knowledge has been altered as i feel slower and my word choices are sometimes incorrect for example i accidently kept saying "Clouds" "Crowds" words which sound similar i was putting in the incorrect words.

They do sometimes I find that when I'm trying to speak I'm so focused on the fact I'm blinded in one eye that my words become distorted and mumbled.. there's no one sided weakness on my face or anything and both pupils are always the same size which is another indicator of strokes... I'm not sure where you're from but if you can get your hands on migraleve they are an absolute godsend...

Nuero opthamologist would be the perfect specialist to see for this situation.

It the study and knowledge of the eyes, optic nerve and corrolation to the brain.  They specialize in a lot, not a lot of them. Optic nerve issues, any nuerological connection  that effects the eyes, migranes, headaches, car accidents where brain effected eyes,ms,diabeties, thyroid. Vascular pressure..its just an extremly knowledgeable doctor who connects eyes and brain issues, i have gone because i have optic nerve pallor (scared the life out of me for a while) with some peripheral vision loss and needed to find out why or how. They didnt know why felt virus related caused it and i have banged my head in my lifetime. They are working on optic nerve regeneration to get the optic nerve to regenerate in humans. They do massive testing and just watch you. But they know a ton more about why stuff happens. And can sometimes prevent damage pending their findings. Its nerve racking because i hate diagnosis but i had to go they sent me. They are very thourough. Check everything.Everyone gets an mri as a starting point. Anything that effects the eyes. Google it and it will tll you more specifics. Anytime the eyes are effected by a condition these are the specialists to see. The opthamologist sent me, every six months i went and now my opthamologist watches it every six months. I work very hard to keep calm about this issue because i read too much on it and i love seeing. First thing i was told was dont google anything most of its wrong, so i dont anymore. It can mess with your sanity. I do follow medical breakthroughs though.
