Mirtazapine to venlafaxine

hello guys I'm new to this I've been on mirtazapine fo 6 months an have gained a lot of weight my gp has swapped them to venlafaxine how are these and will I loose the weight x

    If you are like me you will loose some easily the last bit is a work in progress. The velafaxine has some nasty side effects to begin with but stick with it, its worth it.

    Just wondering if you are withdrawing slowly from Mirt?  There are some pretty nasty side effects if not, for most people who have come off cold turky it has proved to be a nightmare Clare.  

    It's possible to read previous  "withdrawing from Mirtazapine" posts on this forum - better to be aware.

    Well 2 weeks al in I've gone from 30 mirt then 15 every other day yes the anxiety was hard but feeling fab right now fingers crossed x
