Totally off topic, but I just clicked on 6 different new discussions from last night and they all day a moderator has deleted the posts.. The one I saw before it got deleted and there was nothing wrong in it, it was just a general question.. What makes them get deleted, or is it just random items get deleted in groups?

Hi,
The problem is trolls. For some reason there has been a large number of these users lately who post the same question multiple times, sometimes in several different groups. The other behaviour is they post a discussion, receive a lot of replies, ask a lot of questions and ignore any advice. They then post the same question again and go through the whole process again. They also create multiple accounts to continue to troll the site. This just wastes genuine users' time who are trying to help each other.
While I try to keep an eye out I do rely on users reporting suspicious posts to me or sending me a Private Message. There is an FAQ section here https://patient.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/topics/59133-discussion-forums with information about reporting, PMs etc.
Regards,
Alan

Yea but that doesn't make sense still. I've had two of my accounts deactivated in the last week... only had one and used it properly then it randomly got shut down the seemingly after posting about being an RN because there's nothing else I said that broke any rules, and the one before this which was shut down only after answering a very basic question that wasn't vulgar or anything that I can even think of that would get me shut down. Luckily I happen to just have 3 separate email accounts and I'm on my last one. This site is very helpful and it's helping me with some of my own issues, til I get shut down for no reason which to be honest is a little discouraging when you're in time of great need and want to get a question out asap or answer someone back because you might be able to help and can't. I understand trolls but I'm not one of them. Some more discretion might be advised with deleting people's accounts (like me) who are using them as an adjunct to counseling. Thank you for your understanding.
