Hi all! I have some more questions and wondering if anyone has similar issues. The main thing is my back this time. It seems like it gets injured, actually feels painful whenever I do anything anymore. I just moved a lightweight bench 2 days ago and omg the pain. So I rested and the next day tried to go for a walk to stretch it out. Made it a block and didn't know if I would make it home. The pain is a bit better but my legs felt like they were rubber and kinda numb and tingly.Been taking pain pills and using a cane. I know this can be because of the back pain but can SS be the cause of why my back hurts so often. I don't want to blame everything on SS but I am curious. BTW-legs are still rubbery and tingly. Driving me nuts!

Hi tj,
?I do have back issues anyway, and have gone through back surgery, didn't help much and I still have to walk with my cane, BUT I do know now that my SS does settle in there at times, and does cause more pain in both my back and legs. It seems to move around all over the body willie nillie. Call it a flare up when we do something like lift something, or move something. Doesn't even have to be heavy at times. Such a crazy darn disease! Can just be emotional sometimes too, which is what is happening to me at the moment. Full blown flare up of my whole body. Uncle had a heart issue, thought he was not going to make it, went home from the hospital, my Aunt was under such stress, she had a stroke the next morning, didn't know what the prognosis was with her for a couple of days. Extremely close to both, Mom has Lupus, and it threw her into a flare up...uncle is her brother...I live out of state, and freaking out about my family, and threw me into the flare up...all hit me at once after I found out they are sort of ok now. Been in bed for 2 days. Upped my meds, and getting my shots tomorrow. What a chain reaction!!! I started laughing, my goodness, we are ALL going to end up in the hospital, we should just open one so we can all be together! We need humor in our lives to survive!!!
?Seriously, Maybe you should have your back checked just in case, and mention to the doctor you do have SS. There could be a pinched nerve causing an issue with your legs. Always better to be safe than sorry! I wish you luck, please let us know how things turn out!! We are always here for you!! XO
