Nausea

How common is nausea? What are your experiences? I'm trying to figure out whether the Mirtazapine is the cause or if it's something else.

It's mostly in the morning, and I wake with a dry mouth. I also get very nasty dizziness after any short bursts of strenuous activity - just lifting a heavy box from one place to another is enough to make me need to sit down for a while. This shouldn't be happening as I'm only in my 30s and I've always been pretty active.

Hi anthony:  Are you on any other medications?  I ask because dry mouth (altho it is a side effect of Mirt) is a side effect of may meds.  Also, sleeping with your mouth open causes dry mouth.  Re: the dizziness could be due to blood pressure and/or meds.

I've taken Mirt for over 20 years at doses of 30 -15 mgs. and have not experienced nausea or dizziness because of it that I know but as we all know, our bodies are different.  Your symptoms can certainly be from Mirt. How many mgs. are your taking -- makes a difference.
