I am desperately in need of help, i've been to dozens of doctors over these 2 years and haven't been diagnosed yet. I suffer from a nauseous feeling after eating however not like i could physically could be sick just in the pit of my stomach. Certain foods aren't as bad as others however. I take domperidone and lansoprazole and have tried rantidine, esameprazole and emozul with no effect. I also suffer from a phobia of vomiting and have been to counsellors and they insist my problem is down to anxiety. they think it may be gastritis, i had an endoscopy and was told i have mild atrophy. I've been told to eat more and ill feel better but i can't. I lost almost 2 stone in weight and i used to stop eating when ever i felt unwell i also became agrophobic. Please can anyway help me or say theyve suffered something similiar i'm desperate 😭

Have you had your vitamin D checked...a lack of vit D can cause gastro problems...also keep a diary and see what food cause your nausea...also take some probiotic tabs to keep your gut flora good....and do eat three healthy meals per day..try going gluten free, lactosefree, wheat free, caffeine free and sugar free....and take multivits.....best wishes.....

Don't get disappointed if wether VitD nor all VitB in normal ranges do not explain or help.
Good start, but for us unfortunately not the issue. (And vomiting at least 10 times a day for years plus constant nausea).
The only nausea relief was ondansetrone,
taken to max dose each day (2x8mg), yet it is only symptomatic relief, not tackling the issue, which is a wide field and very unclear in many cases.
I can't see ondansetrone on your medication trial list though.
Have you had a gastric emptying study? This proves a motility problem.
There are very invasive problem solvers (like a tube via skin locally into stomach to drain it from juices and bile -yes, we have bile reflux, too- and a tube into jejunum to feed, called: GJ), which are last resort for symptom relief.
but first you will try LOW fiber diet, liquid diet, self juiced diets, sucking on icy poles, the sugar actually welcomed when not having SIBO as digestion can be a real issue (we actually have to put in a good spoon of pure glucose, which needs no digestion).
The typical gastroparesis diets.
If worst comes to worst there are nutritional drinks, that get absorbed without digestion. But have to be prescribed, are not available to be bought at pharmacy.
There are very rare conditions -yet not to be forgotten- that compress the duodenum and hence delay the stomach emptying physically: SMA, MASL. Might want to google them. Gold standard diagnosis are doppler ultrasound as no 'frozen' pic like in MRIs will tell you how the flow in the vessels is as sometimes also the organ supply with blood is the issue of funciton.
Best of luck! We have hung in there for frustrating years with no other answers than medication and adjusted diet to takle the symptoms of gastroparesis prior going down the GJ tube szenario.
