.  Possibly not really . . seven months is a long time.   At seven months, I did still have tightness around the knee, but not really pain. Pain in the foot sounds like a different thing. . perhaps caused by walking differently over the last months. . . Could be a tendon problem, or plantar fascitis . . .Sounds as if it would be best to get the doctor's opinion on this.  Re the knee, do you have 0 extension now?  I know that if you haven't achieved the full extension, it can cause problems.  if not, you could concentrate on that.  Hope you get it sorted soon . .seven months is a long time.

Went and seen specialist n he says its normal and could take up to 12 mth to get better(my mistake its only 5 mths)and just to keep doing what im doing..ive had to give my job up as a assistant cook as i cant stand for long periods of time but specialist says its because i was 6mth on crutches not able to walk properly before they operated.got to go back to see him in march.x

I know tgat seven months feels like an eternity but it is a good beginning. The entire recovery coild be more like 12-18 months.

Kerp elevating, icing, resting, and exercising. Go for quality when you walk, not quantity. By this time next year, you will be able to foxtrot... hugs
