After 6 months or more of being on hrt im still
suffering the same symptoms as before,so im asking myself if its really worth it. Ive just been changed to a different hrt ss they are now telling me that its not the right one for me. Surely i shouldnt still be having horrendous hot flushes, sleepless nights, anxiety through the roof and just generally feeling like i ache from head to toe and just so so old and misetable . Im considering going down the herbal
route before i get this new hrt. Can you ladies plz tell me what i should try plz ? For me the main things im struggling with are hot flushes, anxiety and aching from head to toe along with a million other things . All advice will be greatly appreciated x

There is a womens vitimin with many reviews about their hot flashes diminishing--- you might want to look into it.. Aniexty is my worst symptom and just trying to keep myself busy with positive things, exercise and good food.. It comes and go so I do my best.

I also take magnesium at night for the aches and pains----some say that it helps with sleep too.

Hi Samantha
So sorry to hear you are struggling so much. I was the same and felt quite depressed with my emotions. I was on HRT and like you it didn't make me feel any better. Some weeks I actually felt worse. I took myself off the HRT and have been taking Vitabiotics Menopace Original. I have been on it for just over a month and feel so much better. Still getting little hot flushes but have been sleeping better and my mood is also so much better. I actually feel more positive which I haven't done for a few years. We all are different but for me the herbal route has been so much better.
Wishing you all the best in your journey and I hope my little input has helped you.
Lisa xx

Hi Samantha,
I am curious as to what types of hrt have you tried. I just started bio-identical hrt 6 weeks ago. I am using bi-est cream (combination estradiol and estriol) and 75 mg of progesterone. I just had my labs done to check my progesterone and estrogen levels and am waiting for the results.
I haven't seen much improvement with my symptoms. What has improved is my vaginal lubrication (and desire to some degree) and my migraines have been better (more time between them). My anxiety, achiness, hot flashes and poor sleep still exists unfortunately.
