so ive had herpes for awhile but i finally told someone i really cared about that i had it and now he never wants to speak to me again how do i cope living with herpes because its making me super depressed

    you know what courtney, that guy doesnt care about you enough for you to be giving him the time of day. feel good about yourself, you can walk, you can see, you can hear, life isnt so bad, head up! i have hsv type 1 and type 2 and they are my biggest insecurities in life but its not going to beat me. there is far too much good in my life. one day you will find someone far better than this dude dont worry!

      not unless im having an outbreak. its highly highly unlikley to pass on herpes if you are not experiencing symptoms and you are not asymptomatic

    Hey courtney, God will bless you with someone just for you who will understand your illness. Dont be depressed life will get better. Just pray everything will get better, rainy days dont last forever. I am here if you want to chat.

    Hi Courtney, you know... f*** that person. This is unjustified and you are worth much more. You can join the reddit sub on herpes. There is a huge community and positive testimonies of people who found love and have a pretty normal life.
