Hello guy's... This is going to be my first post...
I was diagnosed with genital herpes 10 years ago when my partner decided to cheat on me with a very promiscuous girl... After I found out about it I got scare went to the doctor and hello herpes ๐
My life has change so much!!! We are not longer together he's happily married and I'm still single. I feel like nobody wants a woman who has herpes๐ I tried to end my life many times and hate it my self for having this.
But I'm confused!!! In 2013 I had a test saying I was negative, no STD found in my body. Now I went to a new OBYG Dr and she say's that the test can be wrong because once you had herpes is never going away, you will have this for life. So she decided to test me again... Guess what? Results came out negative. Now my question is, is this ever happens to one of y'all? I'm paranoid because I meet this new person who by the way I really like and when I told him what the doctor said he got mad at me for not telling him I was positive once. He basically stop talking to me and was very upset. Then when I told him about the negative results he's looking for me and wanted to date me again... I'm scare that the virus come back and he gets it. If he was upset just because I didn't tell him since day one imagine what he would do if he gets the virus??? I'm confuse!!! Is there's anybody out there that went through this negative and positive results?

You can't tell him your tests are negative whether it came back negative or not, because you know you have it and obviously the tests had a false negative, which can happen in about 20% of the tests.
I wouldn't even waist my time on him

I'm starting to think that is better if I stay by my self... I'm tired of getting hurt and rejected because of this.

Check out this site called H Opportunity. It has pamphlets you can download for disclosure and has transmission rates on there based on types of protection used if you had sex 2-3xs a week for a yr. It's all nicely put together and has videos to help you w disclosure.
