I am now 11 months without a period. I had literally NO significant symptoms up until about 5 months ago. Main one being this God awful nausea. It's pretty much constant.

God will give me a break here and there and I will be all excited to feel human then the crap comes back. Hard to get excited about anything in fact I am p****d off more than I am anything as you just feel like crap all the time!

I have been eating fresh ginger with "some" relieve. Had lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks at one point but gained it back as I ate like a horse on the few days I felt decent.

All my labs were perfect. CA-125 was a 6. Never had a bad pap, ultrasounds 2 years ago were fine, I was even tested for H Pylori. ALL negative or perfect.

Fell like a damn science experiment!

    Yes......this is for the birds!

    Hi Sandra

I too have symptoms every day. Some dissapear after a couple of weeks - others a more persistant.

My periods are very irregular so I take oral contraceptive pills. They help but I am spotting between periods every month.

I suffer from anxiety, heart palps, forgetfulness, brain fog, mood swings, hot flushes, stomach issues, muscle cramps etc.

Hi sandra, one word...ALWAYS. Everyday it is something...aches, pains, gi issues , hot flashes on a tolerable day. fatigue, migraine, vertigo, unbalanced feeling on the bad days. Trying so hard to figure out a happy medium. on something for the migraines and Started back on BCP 2 weeks ago. Had a few ok days last week...but then a horrendous migraine yesterday set me back. I have to give things time to work. I wish I could just leap out if bed and not have something be bothering me!

Yes.. I can't keep track but I'll say a ONLY a few good days out of the month. Sometimes cramps, heavy bleeding, irritability, anxiety at times, fatigue, spacey type feeling. Just don't care anymore-- I should be cooking like I used to just no energy. I used to be out in the yard planting bulbs for spring but no desire.. Just this blah feeling. Today, I was basically a lump in my PJ's-- I vaccumed, took a nap with the cats and cleaned out my coat closet.. That's it. Sometimes I'm in awe of others who are constantly out and about like where do you get your energy from?

hi, I used to take the pill for horrendous pms, eventually had to come off as terrible migraines perimenopause and age. so sudden menopause and god awful symptoms that everyone has mentioned. sometimes not so bad but always come back with a vengance. if the physical symptoms are not enough i feel like a have lost 40 iq points and have a memory of a goldfish. thats beside the depression and anxiety. i work with university students, so they think i am completely wierd. i hope it improves for you. try doctors, herbs, etc

    Hi Sandra,

I had a few months in the summer where I would have a few bad days, then many good days. Bad days would be mid-cycle and then again around period.

As of last month, the pattern has reversed... almost every day with multiple symptoms, with a good day every once in a while.

Quite discouraging, and I am sorry you are feeling poorly so often too.

Am 48 with regular but very light, very short periods.

    Hi Sandra,

I suffer continually. I've been in peri for about 5 years, but my symptoms have really ramped up the last 2 years. This is what I'm regularly experiencing: very irregular periods, hot flashes, vertigo, headaches, nausea, muscle and joint pain, bloating, horrible digestive issues, cramping without a period, fuzzy brain, difficulty sleeping, anxiety, panic, depression. Some days are ok, but I find that most days I have one symptom or several symptoms. It truly makes me feel like I am going crazy.

I visited my doctor recently and she prescribed low dose BHRT. I am hoping this will give me relief from some of these wicked symptoms. I am so tired of feeling sick all the time. I just want to feel like myself.

I hope you feel better soon! Big hugs--Sarah
