Although you're doing the right thing by going to the clinic, you might not get an answer. Swabbing is the most accurate way to diagnose herpes and by Thursday these lesions will be too far along in the healing process to get a good swab. Blood tests are regularly recommended against by medical professionals.

im glad you were able to move it because it does look very likely, especially the first one. either way everything will be ok!

so they said its not herpes 2 but possibly Type 1 which is cold sores cause it's just the one the other 2 small spots are nothing. they said its already healed so can't be scabbed but the location and the fact its just the one its not genital herpes

i had a feeling if it was positive it would be type 1 just from what ive seen over time although sometimes its hard to tell a difference. did you had oral sex before your outbreak and do you know if your partner has ever had cold sores? hsv1 is the rising cause of over half new genital herpes cases because over 60-80% of the workd has hsv1 orally, and now we have a lot more oral sex. glad you were able to get in!
