New clothes !

I've been shopping this weekend. I'm embarrassed to say that I have been wearing clothes size 20-22. sad

BUT this weekend I'm pleased to say I've bought 4 tops, a tight fitting dress, skirt and coat in a size 18!. This might not seem a lot but it is to me. My shape has changed alot especially over the last few weeks. Plus this weekend 2 people have noticed I've lost weight !

Don't get me wrong I've got a long way to go but for the first time for years I'm not embarrassed to be seen out without a coat, jacket or cardigan on.

Another bonus is I walked around the shops for two and half hours before my hip started aching. (I had a hip replacement 2 and half years ago and have struggled to walk and stand for too long). I'm getting stronger everyday. Somedays I do feel tired but some days I have loads of energy.

Hope everybody else is feeling positive like me!

    Hiya,

Its a great feeling isnt it when you go into a shop and have to buy smaller clothes. I was a size 26-28 (Awfully embarrassing!) and now im in size 22 jeans which is a massive improvement, still not brilliant though!

I still go out with a jacket on ... for now anyways.

    FANTASTIC!!!!

What a lovely story that puts a smile on my face. I was the same...size 22/24 and now wearing 18 so I know how exciting and what a big deal it is! I love that I can go into nearly any shop and pick up an 18 and not stick to the 16+ shops!

Congratulations trying hard, you really are an inspiration! Love reading your posts! Keep up the good work and so pleased to hear about your hip and how much better you feeling smile

    All the best
