New to Citalopram

I was prescribed 10mg Citalopram for depression and anxiety. It's only day two. I feel jittery and unable to concentrate properly however that feeling starts about an hour after taking it...am I making myself anxious?

    Shannon,

That is very normal. Citalopram takes about 6 weeks to fully get into your system and you will experience weird side effects as it enters your system. Usually, the side effects start to disappear after a few weeks. hang in there!

I took my first one this morning and felt exactly the same but I think partly it was the panic and realisation at what i had just done as I've put off taken them for so long! I took it at 1030 this morning, will see how I get on , how do you feel now ? Xxx

I feel worried. I feel uneasy with everything. I want to do so many things but can only get to part of thinking about them. Not actually doing anything. No nausea or tiredness. Just weird....numb but not enough to relax...
