I just wanted to clarify that since I have been more careful about taking care of my liver that I have been feeling much better, I don't have the tiredness, irritabillity and at times anxiety I was experiencing before. I have also been drinking apple cider vinegar throughout the day so that when I have foods like potato chips and hot chips that I have my drink on hand and it helps break down the fat and the oil in the chips so that I don't feel ill.
I have discovered that I can't have white or brown sugar however, agave and honey is fine for me.
I at times feel happy too, which before I wasn't feeling happy at all I wasn't depressed just not my usual vibrant self.
It is so important to talk and communicate well too.
I wish u all the best my friend.

It's funny how I was an advocate against olanzipine I have gone back on it because my anxiety and sleep problems were starting to bother me. My energy levels have plummeted again when getting my period while on sodium valproate. So the sodium valproate is causing me liver problems or anemia. I have just had a blood test to check my iron levels. I have also gone off wheat and I plan to stay off for at least the next month and see how my period is for the next time I get it. I also am suffering from IBS I have had it on and off for the last year or so. A great thing for IBS is lemon balm tea. My naturopath put me on it a year ago so everytime my IBS flares up I use the tea and I find it very helpful.
I'm glad to see that u are eating sugar free iceblocks are they ones u make yourself or are they the ones u buy that are sugar free but sweetened with maltitol or sorbitol, maltitol and sorbitol are not good for u. I have made fruit juice iceblocks for my kids with 100 percent juice and if i make frozen berries ones I add honey and blend them up in the blender and put into iceblock containers and they are yummy. If u are having sugar free iceblocks sweetened with sorbitol or maltitol or apartate these sweeteners, they would not be good for your IBS. Safest thing to have is honey, I try to stay away from sugar, especially white sugar when I have IBS. Brown, raw sugar and palm sugar are much more nutritious for u, white sugar has had all the nutrients removed. I use palm sugar in my baking it's wonderful, it's low GI and has the most beautiful toffee flavour. Oh, are u diabetic? I think I recall u saying that u are diabetic, so does that mean that any sugar is out for u? I just don't understand why sorbitol and maltitol is suitable for diabetics. Is it because they have low GI.
My itchy skin and itchy scalp is so much better. I believe it was wheat causing it. I did take the sodium valproate yesterday and I wasn't very itchy yesterday either.
Allright it's time for me to get off the computer now that I have poured my thoughts out.
Oh, by the way a good magnesium vitamin supplement containing magnesium digycinate is brilliant for restless legs. I used to get them and really bad cramping in my legs. I don't get them since taking a good magnesium. Magnesium is a good nerve relaxant too. A good magnesium supplement contains vitamin B6 to help the magnesium be absorbed well.
Bye for now.

I was able to pop in and see my naturopath yesterday, I felt so lucky, she has put me on a really good acidophilus which is really helping, my terrrible itchiness has gone away. She explained that the gut produces the majority of serotonin in the body, so if the gut is not working properly it causes all sorts of mental problems.Pharmaceutical drugs upset that natural good gut bacteria balance. So I am following her guidelines of natural supplements and taking the acidophilus and i feel so much better today. If u want to know the type of acidophilus i'm using I can let u know as it will definitely alleviate your IBS symptoms.
It looks like u are getting into the pharmaceutical system of treating yourself with various drugs. That is your choice of course, I choose however to go the natural path along with a low dose of olanzipine. I am determined to in about 3 months try going off the olanzipine again because I don't want to be drug depent and I will do this with the guidelines of the fantastic naturopath here.
For now I just want to slow down and take xtra special care of myself, which includes resting, having fun and a good diet.
U can look up the F.O.D maps online to find out what foods to avoid so that u dont' get abdominal pain and cramping from eating foods that cause it to flare up. I have had a look and it has been very helpful.
I hope u are doing well and i hope that I hear from u soon.
