I had urolift but it didn't work and had to have a TURP. The TURP was much less painful too. The answer depends on a lot of things so only you can decide.

Neither, Do the rezum. Mine actually did not go initially well with a massive post infection. However, after 2 months Im beginning to see better results. Peeing stronger now. It seems that finally getting good resuts. Do the Rezum!!

My urolift was a failure and left me in constant pain. I recently had a TURP and that was a walk in the park (pain wise) compared to urolift and the results much better. With the TURP one of the urolift clips was dug out, I think it was the one causing me the pain. If RE is not an issue for you then just go with the TURP and you wont be left with those damn clips inside you.

Andrew I also have a failed Urolift with 4 months of pain. Going back next week for a scope to see what is wrong. Can u tell me a little more about ur failure and how turp was less pain. Thanks

Hi Andrew, did your surgeon say why the clip was causing pain? Was it the outer tab that was rubbing against your bladder or something? Also, can you describe what the pain was like? I've been having some intermittent pain that started 18 months years after I had 5 clips put in.
