Nitric Oxide Therapy dramatically reduces blood pressure

Posted , 6 users are following.

Has anyone checked out Nitric Oxide Therapy as my partner has reduced her Blood pressure by 35 points with no Statins or drugs and it doesn't have any side effects. A doctor friend of mine said it appears to act like Viagra in softening the arterial wall and he reckons it may something that will be prescribed in future once they do a clinical trial in the UK.

We found it through a contact of mine who had a triple bypass and has been taking it for 7 years. It comes in a dissolvable fruit flavour sachet taken every day so anyone interested please get in touch.

 Gareth.

I've heard of this but never tried it. I'd be interested to know how low your partner's blood pressure dropped. i looked on that well known website [name of S American river!] and it seemed to indicate it was a male muscle body builder confused !!

Statins don't lower blood pressure though - just cholesterol.

gareth55435...I've never neard of Nitric Oxide Therapy.IF it works, it would be wonderful for a lot of people, but notice I said "If".

A lot of people think that taking a lot of Magnesium lowers bp, but that's true only to an extent. It "helps" lower it, but one must be careful because too much Magnesium can cause all sorts of things.

Nitic Oxide has proven vasodilation properties & is a naturally recurring molecule in the human body. Rigerous exercise releases nitric oxide to increase the supply of oxygenated blood to the muscles. Nuts, fruits, meats and dairy products directly creates nitric oxide. These products contain the amino acids L-Arginine and L-citrulline Arginine which can be bought as dietary supplements. It is true that nitric oxide is favoured by body builders to boost the supply of protein rich blood to the muscles. Anyone on existing medication for hypertension should speak to their GP before taking Nitric Oxide or Arginine supplements.

BTJ...I agree wholeheartedly with what you say about people consulting their Dr. before taking Nitric Oxide or Arginine Supplements, or any other supplement to reduce bp for that matter. All too often people go headlong into this sort of thing, & wind up making the situation worse.
