Not all in my head.

Hey.

Sorry in advance for waffling on if anyone actually reads this.

What could be causing these symptoms?

Chronic hives 2+yrs.

Strange idiopathic pains all over my body.

Joint aches.

Fits of rage and sadness and tiredness for no reason.

Leg pains, numb toes, tingling feeling in feet.(I do have a disc herniation which is the most likely cause if this)

Ectopic heart beats started this year 10-20 a day on holster monitor.

Spasms in my lower abdomen like a baby kicking me.

Now I have told my doctor/doctors about all my symptoms as they progress, all my bloods are fine.

So that's where they stop investigating. All these symptoms on there own are no cause for concern but I find it strange they all came so quickly one after the other. Especially the chronic hives. I honestly feel like there is something wrong. I'm half the man I was 4 years ago.

    Hi,

First off have you had any mri or ct scans? Second how much money do you have-not for me, but for private consultation with a Neurologist. You say you have disc problems, how do you know, who told you and how did they come to that occlusion.

I was told I had "some" arthritis in my neck, nothing to worry about. Turns out I have serious cervical problems at C4, 5,6 and 7. Many of the symptoms you describe are on my list, apart from hives, but as far as I know hives are a reaction by the immune system when the body is under stress.

With cervical stenosis or spondylosis or myelopathy different people have different reactions. Go back to your GP and try to get a nervous system test, electric shock test which may point to a more underlying problem.

Thanks Mike. Yes I've had quiet a few scans on my spine I am having another mri on thoracic and lumber done next week to take along to a new specialist. He is a neurosurgeon actually so I'm hoping he can help me out my back seems to be deteriorating steadily. Never heard of a shock test but I'll ask him about it. Feels like it's all conneceted somehow.

      Thanks again mate.

Hi there. Sorry to hear about this. I had hives a few years ago and it cleared up with antihistamines. I stopped them after about half a year to a year to see if the hives would return, and luckily they didn't and haven't since. Thanks Mike for the info. - I did not know and looking back think it may well have been mainly due to severe.stress. However, I was also diagnosed with hypothyroidism and low iron/vitamin D levels at the time.

Regarding the aches, get your bones checked too.

I wish you all the best. Hang in there - you have what it takes overcome it.

Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated. Yeah the hives are under control with anti histamines. They only bother me when I forget to take one. But I shouldn't have to take them at all. I have been wanting stop taking them for a few days and see what happens but I can't really because I hAve to go to work. If it were stress that would explain everything. I can't accept that stress could be doing all this to my body along with the pain. Anyway I know how blessed I am in life It just gets to me sometimes. I'll be ok. Whatever happens.

Have you had your vit D blood level checked? Deficiency can cause most if not all of these symptoms.

      Hey.

Yeah I think so. I'm not positive though but I have had quiet a few tests so one would think levels would have been checked.

'One would think,' ha ha! Look carefully through the printouts you have, or if you don't have them, get them from your doctor. It is not necessarily checked for automatically. It may be listed as '25 OHD'. Check that it shows on your printouts and what the level is. You can check normal ranges for your country online. Deficiency can make your seriously ill, masquerades as a lot of other conditions with fatigue, joint pain, muscle pain and weakness as key features - and can cause depression and tearfulness. It can significantly disrupt immune function, which is why autoimmune issues and allergies are common in deficient people. Good luck - and never assume your doctor has done 'all' the tests; always take a printout and check exactly what has been tested for!

Haha yeah I know what you mean I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't. I used to think doctors knew everything.

Thanks for the tip I have my printouts at home somewhere.
