I am down to have Hemorrhoid surgery but my consultant said it lot better then it was to have as he does one called
THD procedure, the blood-supplying arteries of the haemorrhoid are precisely located with a fine, specially designed proctoscope allowing maximum precision via a doppler ultrasound probe. Each of these arteries is then gently sutured through a small operating window of the same proctoscope, making this technique extremely gentle and safe. As the procedure is carried out in the area above the dentate line (an area without sensory nerves), you won't feel any stitches during or after the procedure.
As any one had this please get back to me

I had thd procedure in 2012 and was only a short term fix for grade 3 internals. Surgeon repeated the procedure again June 2017 which worked for a few weeks and then everything was back as bad as before. I'm now on the waiting list again for traditional hemmorhoidectony. I know it will be painful but just wish I'd gone for it last year instead of messing about with thd. Personally I think for grade 3 and 4 it's just not enough

Hi, nothing to worry about. But uncomfortable first couple days until packing came out but no real pain. Recovery was quick too. Good luck with it all.
I found out today I will still have months to wait until surgery which isn't great as it's on my mind constantly and just want it over with 😣
