So it's now been a few months since I've been experiencing the sensation of numbness. I really don't know how else to explain it. It feels like when you have been sedated, so I'm not completely numb but I have the sensation of that. It started on the back of my head then I started experiencing this sensation on my chest to where it felt like I couldn't catch my breath. It's a really weird sensation and feeling. it's been with me since it started and I feel like it has been spreading. While it has been a constant nuisance, I've had good and bad days. Sometimes I feel weakness along with the sensation. However, im able to go on with my daily routines including Yoga. But it does worry me here and then. Last night I could not sleep due to this, then I started to worry and mild panic attacks took over. I got my phone and started meditation but it only helped a little. Right now im at work and my pulse feels like it's fast but according to my apple watch it is normal, in the 60s. My chest hurts when I breath, my neck is very stiff also, it is worst in the morning, most of the time it gets better as the day progresses, mainly when I go home from work. My face has also been an issue with tightness and tingling. I've had many test done, Blood, x-rays for chest and head, Cat Scan of my head, Cardiologist (Stress Test and Holsters Monitor 24hr), most recent I had a Pulmonary Test done everything came back normal, im seeing a therapist, im doing Yoga and Acupuncture, drinking herbal tea, Meditation, I just don't know what to do anymore. I was fine a week ago but Thursday I started to feel ill and its been a rollercoaster since. Anyone experience this? Please help! Im making an appointment to see my Dr again but any suggestions will help.

I've suffered from numbness in my face when my anxiety was really bad.
It sounds to me after all the tests you've had done that it's anxiety that's the problem here, talk to your doc but it will probably be anxiety as the culprit.

Thank you for your reply James. Yes that has been the diagnosis every time after every test and multiple ER visits this year. But this weird sensation is driving me mad. I can't say is numbness but it feels like it. Although I do get numbness here or there and tingling but this is a different feeling. For example, I can stretch my neck by pulling my head to my chest, and I don't feel my muscles expand, that kind of feeling, just very weird. I'm not on any medications other than Thyroid for Hypo, but that's been checked out and is normal so im just going crazy here. So im seeing my dr again this Tuesday to see what he can recommend. Thank for the reply
