hi Nichola, sorry but I am always a bit suspicious of a diagnosis of IBS. I was told for a long time I had it but all the time was suffering from an underlying condition. They just weren't able to diagnose it. My symptoms did not improve or change whatever food I hate. I came to the conclusion in the end that I didn't have IBS and I was right. Since I was diagnosed and treated...no more IBS symptoms.

hi Nichola, I have a form of vasculitis. It is called Behcet's syndrome. There are other forms of vasculitis which can cause IBS. Mine is quite specific. I had a lot of seemingly unconnected symptoms including a sever migraine syndrome and also joint pain. Many people with vasculitis get different symptoms from me. It's a wide ranging illness. I don't know that you have anything like that as you don't mention other health problems.
