Oh, anxiety...what's up with these symptoms?!

Okay, so I had these symptoms a while back when I first started having anxiety issues after starting a birth control pill, but now they are back again. When I first had them, it was mostly tingling and numbness in my arms and legs but this time, it is headaches around my temples and the back of my head running into my neck, which is painful and stiff. It also makes my shoulders feel stiff, my neck glands are swollen, my armpit glands are swollen, and I keep getting dizzy, especially when I'm sitting. This morning when I was out of the house, I was fine, but as soon as I got home and settled, the symptoms started again. I take online classes and I know it would help to get out of the house, which is why I'm trying to get a job. I just was wondering if this does sound like anxiety to you guys or should I be worried there's something wrong, which I will probably do anyway because I'm a major hypochondriac. Please help!

Okay, that makes me feel better that I'm not the only one. I find myself clenching my jaw a lot, which doesn't help the situation either. Thanks for your response! smile

I have TMJ and you probably do too. It's in my left jaw mostly. I also found out a few years back I have arthritis in the same jaw.

Hmm.. I had to look it up, but that is really interesting. I've always had issues with clenching my my jaw when I'm anxious, so that could be the issue.

Louie, I wish you could help me withdraw from this Paxil that I'm still taking that's like taking water now. My body is withdrawing itself. My heart races when I'm not even anxious about anything and therefore when my heart rate gets bad enough and the jitters from it, then I do get anxiety.

My symptoms are nausea, heart palpitations, anxiety, generally feeling unwell. Feel like I have the flu when my heart palpitations are bad. I don't go anywhere much at all. I've lost 25 pounds since July of 2015.

Okay...do you ever get like a sharp, quick pain near your ribs? That something new for me, and it scares me. It only lasts for a few seconds and I don't have any sickness with it or anything. When I touch the area, I can usually soothe it by rubbing the pressure point there (my muscles have been inflamed with my anxiety) so I'm thinking it's just that.
