Oh Dear

well, as I said I would I have started at Slimming World. I have avoided getting on my scales (very unlike me) for about 3 weeks as I haven't been able to take the tablets. It was much worse then expected, but when I loke at the amount of rubbish I have been eating between meals not surporising. In 5 weeks (including my time in India) I have put back on 11lbs. That's not bad going by anyone's standards

On the positive side that still means I a less than when I started. So It's time to stop the rot and get on with it. I have been on the website and there are so many easy recipies, although they don't give you the fat content. For the moment though I am waiting to see if my stomach settles down before starting the little bluies again. Plus if I can lose weight without them it would be preferable.

First weigh in next Tuesday night so I'll keep you posted. Tuna and Jacket with salad coming up for lunch

Goes without saying -We are all battling to lose weight and to improve our health. :D

The majority of people I know don't have problems with their weight and the few people I know have not made any effort to do anything about it. I have a friend who lives by herself who asked me for help and advice but she didn't stick at it for long and tried to tell me she eats healthily but she forgets I've seen what she puts in her shopping trolley and remnants of what she's eaten at home.

Most people especially those who don't have weight problems do not realise how hard we have to work to lose weight even when we are on the tablets they do think they are a miracle cure even though I have explained how little fat we have to eat- I've had comments off colleagues who don't look like they need to lose weight , who are far better off financially than I am who have made comments like \" I wish I could get them on prescription\".

So please carry on posting on this forum - I don't think I'll be allowed on the tablets for much longer I was told I could stay on them until my BMI is 28 or year and half max which I does make me panic inside -I'm thinking if I only lose a pound one month and less than 4 1/2 next how am I gonna carry on losing or at least maintain it without the tablets - Don't get me wrong I fully intend to keep eating heathily but I don't want to put it any of it back on
