On 10mg Buspar twice a day

Hi I would like to stop Buspar before my important events coming up because it is making my anxiety worse. I can’t get an appointment with my doctor til next week. I know I should wait til I see my doctor but I can’t. Will I be okay to start taking 5 mg twice a day then Thursday do only 5 mg once and then Friday stop completely?

    Have you done any research into tapering off this drug? I think it depends on how long you have been taking it for , the dose . Advice on tapering is mixed. I would strongly suggest doing as much research into this as possible.
