hi, been to the doctors today and  have been booked in for my hip replacement surgery in March. Might sound weird but am looking forward to it, been putting up with this since I was a little girl. 

Looking forward to what this new chapter brings, hope all is good after all pain and the rehab is done.

    Me too, nattie, the pain gets so bad that I could do the surgery on the kitchen table!

    I am in for number 2 in 4 weeks and would go in tomorrow if I could. It's hard going after but so worth it

    It doesn't sound wierd at all. I was so excited when I was given my op date. I couldn't wait. I'm now twelve weeks post op and progressing really well. Just to be able to go upstairs without pain is great. 

    Best set wishes to you for your op and recovery.

    I am so happy for you that you will get your surgery in March ... keep bugging them until they confirm a date, okay ?

    I had some bad news today, the doctor called me to say that he had to cancel my operation due to a thumb injury he got over the wkend and needs time to recover. i am now waiting on his office assistant to call me to re arrange my operation. I had been counting dow was just over 2wks to go now i am now looking at 4-5 wks :-( dissopointed

      That is such bad luck - but better he re-schedules you rather than make a mistake due to his injury.  Hope you get a new date soon.
