One month post-op Eyhance mini-monovision

I had Eyhance IOLs implanted on June 27 and August 8 of this year with a mini-monovision strategy prioritizing near and intermediate vision even at the risk of needing glasses for distance. Today, I had my last post-op exam. The exam provides objective confirmation for my subjective feeling that the results have exceeded my expectations.
.
Uncorrected bilateral distance vision is 20/20; uncorrected near vision is J1 (equivalent to 20/20). As of today, both eyes, on a spherical equivalent basis, are 0.5 D less myopic than we targeted: -1.5 D (vs -2.0 D) in the first (nondominant/near) eye; -0.5 D (vs -1.0 D) in the second (dominant/distance) eye.
.
After some discussion and additional testing of trial frames, the optometrist gave me two prescriptions. The first, which I won't fill, would correct both eyes to plano. The second prescription, which I will fill, is for driving glasses, which I likely only will use in unfamiliar areas and conditions of poor visibility. Like the other prescription, it corrects residual astigmatism in both eyes and corrects my distance eye to plano; it corrects my near eye to -1.0 D (to be able to see a car’s dashboard).
.
While results vary from individual to individual, I hope my experience gives some confidence to those considering mini-monovision as well as to those considering the Eyhance IOL.

I am glad you are getting such pleasing results.
How much cyl (astigmatism)? How does that compare to your cyl before surgery.

First, the optometrist now having posted her summary of my visit to the patient gateway, I need to correct one point in my original post. I misunderstand what she told me about my distance vision. While it is 20/20 in my distance eye, taking both eyes together my uncorrected distance visual acuity is 20/25.
Post-operatively, I have 1 cyl in my right eye and 0.5 cyl in my left. I don't find a note of my pre-op astigmatism. I do have a note that, if I understand it correctly, projected residual astigmatism of 0.75 D in both eyes. What I can say for certain is that I asked my surgeon about toric lenses, indicating my willingness to pay for them if appropriate, and was told my astigmatism was not great enough for him to recommend them.

Congratulations RebDovid! I'm happy for you!
That's very similar to my goal, near-intermediate without glasses with great distance vision although I don't expect the great distance vision!

Thank you. The results (so far) also exceed my expectations, albeit not my hopes. But that's why I always try to emphasize that defocus curves and similar measurements of visual acuity present average results while each individual patient (data point) may be better or worse.

Thanks for the update. I do find it encouraging as I'm thinking about both mini-mono and Eyhance.
