Your tibia? OA affects joints not bones. Do you have arthritis in your ankle or your knee?
If you are in this OA thing for the long run you need to educate yourself so you can understand what the doctor is telling you, advocate for yourself & make good informed decisions. You can google lots of information on the internet. I don't mean to sound mean. The medical field doesn't care or have the time to educate you. YOU have to be your own best advocate. I hope your problem is in it's early stages so you can take conservative measures to treat it. Best of luck to you.

Hi Tish, I've got arthritis in my knees and wow it can cause pain down the tibia . I'm trying out different ideas - cider vinegar , fish oils , eradicating deadly nightshade foods . Sometimes I have good days but I can't seem to find out why . I've started keeping a diary of activities and foods etc to pinpoint what seems to help or make it worse . I really need to stop the Ibuprofen as it's causing stomach problems but it's the only thing that's keeping me mobile . If you make any great pain relief discoveries please tell me !
Good luck .
