hey all! I have hsv 2 & I have been on valtrex 3x a day. my question is ... if I have sex with a condom on, while taking the suppression meds, what are the chances of transmitting it to my
partner?

The most important factor is whether you have an active outbreak at the time you have sex.
If you're between outbreaks the chances of passing it on are remote.
If you are having an outbreak you might well pass it on. I caught my genital HSV2 despite using a condom.
My recommendation would be to avoid sex during an outbreak, but relax and have all the sex you want between outbreaks.

i spoke to my dr , She said its unlikely to transmit it so I shud be good
