Such a problem when you get cancelled because it affects so many other people, that is before you even think what it is doing to your emotions.
It's me going into Kings Lynn Hospital. I went to their website page today thinking, I'm going to send an email basically just to make me feel better not expecting to get anywhere! Well there was no link or connection to send an email to the hospital, and then I spotted PALS. Patient Assistance Liasion Service. So tongue in cheek I very politely stated my problem with all this waiting and more waiting! Well when I got in this evening from the Cataract Pre-op appointment there was an email from PALS. My date is the 3rd April. Now I am in a complete spin, just got told no cataract surgery, I have ingrowing eyelashes - which the lovely surgeon removed there and then with hardly any pain and I have Blepharitis and an eye infection. So I lost 2 operations but I have now gained No ! Bingo!
I really hope your operation stays on schedule, it is a too emoitional roller coaster ride all this yes it is or no it's not!
He! he! I suppose I had better start copying you and get cleaning!

I'm quite happy that my op has been delayed as helped no end as hubby had a Heart Attack on 4.1.15 so we would have been hopeless at looking after each other lol.
I too have blepharitis, its horrid isn't it. Touch wood i'm having a good time at moment but i think this is because the weather is warming up and there is no need for the air conditioning units in work to be on full blast blowing out hot dry air. I have an eyebag which you put in the microwave which has tiny little seed things in it which suddenly developed a hole recently whilst on my face, the seeds were everywhere on the bed, great fun!!!

I went to the GP on Monday and she gave me a note for another 4 weeks, she said she wants to reassess me then. So 6 weeks post op plus 1 week off before op and now another 4 weeks 11 weeks so far, but GP did say she would likely be looking at another 2/4 weeks when I go back for reassessment so it could be 13 or 15 weeks total I think. However she did say that if my fluid leakage was from a pool of fluid that had built up from the op I am at least two weeks behind where I should be recovery wise but, if when I'm scanned it turns out to be a fistula, then that again will be a different matter and we will take it from there. Thanks for asking xx

So so sorry about your hubby, how is he doing? Hopefully he is on the mend. It would have been too much to cope with, hyserectomy as well!
My hubby has total heart block, along with about 18 other things and I am very concerned how we will manage, but he was stressing so much about me getting 'someone to do', he hates strangers in the flat. But I shall take it one day at a time, and what we cannot manage between us, we will leave until another day. Considering how quickly the years are flying by lately a couple of months will soon go, and I can sort what needs doing then! This will be a total personality change for me, but I am going to treat recovery like a holiday and try to get some fun out of it!
Yes blepharitis is a bit challenging, especially when I love to walk in the woods. I must say the new drops and eye ointment Mr Johnson gave me yesterday are helping quite a bit. I have two air purifiers in the flat which do help a bit. Your eyebag sounds great, he! he! apart from seeds everywhere. I can just imagine Rosie chasing seeds all over the place!
