Operation Tomorrow

Hi Everyone

Well it is my op tomorrow!rolleyes  Everyone here on my retirement complex keeps asking me if I am nervous about tomorrow, I keep saying my head has not got that far yet!  I am fixated on giving myself the injection at 6 p.m. tonight, If I can manage that then I can cope with anything (hopefully)! lol Hubby is on standby to do the injection if I can't - trouble is his poor hands shake something awful, razz he! he! good incentive to make me do it, I hope!

Just like to wish you all a Very Happy Easter and thanks for all your help while I have had the 'long wait' for the op.

Love

Jacqui smile

    Hi ladies

A stupid question but I am 4 days away from my op and have started bleeding, will they still do it. I'm not supposed to be bleedingiI'm a bit worried. Can anyone help x

I think that they will still do the op.I haven't had a period since Jan due to the Zoladex and Prostap injections.Knowing my luck my period will start before Weds.My last injection was March 5th and I don't know how long it takes for periods to start again. How are you feeling at the moment apart from this?

Hi Nicola, I was bleeding on the day of my op, I had vaginal hysterectomy and it went ahead, nobody said it was a problem.

      Good luck. X

Just to add, my consultant actually said the week before surgery that if I started bleeding I wasn't to take tranexamic acid to clot my blood, obviously it could have caused problems regarding dvt's but he didn't say bleeding would be a problem 're. Surgery.
