Opinion regarding further treatment

Hi everyone, My relative was diagnosed with Type IA endometroid carcinoma with squamous differentiation. She had a surgery following a discomfort to pass stools. The issue was that the lump was sticking to the sigmoid colon, small bowel loops and omentum. There was extreme compression on the left ureter. She got the lump excised. Her CA level prior surgery was approx 70 U/ml. Following the surgery, she had three cycles of chemotherapy (carboplatin and paclitaxel). She is currently at this stage and now her CA levels have dropped to 6 U/ml). She also took a PET and there was no significant finding. But the doctor recommended to do another surgery to remove the dented part of intestine from the lump to say a 100% removal. The doctor also said the recovery following the surgery will be a bit harsh as he said the procedure would lead to a colostomy (in the worst case). But, we are still confused whether we should be going for the surgery or allow 3 months and again take scans to check the status? What would be your opinion? Should we wait and see since it was localized (1A) and did not break the capsule? Or should we look into alternative treatments? Kindly let me know your opinion.

Thank you so much for the help.
