I feel your pain. My issues started in April after having an upper endoscopy for some stomach pain. After that I ended up with a lump in throat sensation and nausea and felling like food is stuck every damn day! I had the scope from the ENT also and my throat was red and inflammed so he said Reflux or LPR. I took the PPI's for over a month with no change. I am going out of my mind. Literally so depressed. I am trying to get an appointment with a JOhn HOpkins specialist in LPR but it is a long process. I have raised the bed, took makuna honey, dgl, aloe vera juice, supplements and I just don't know where to turn anymore. Just wanted to say you are not alone. I wish you luck!

Aww thanks for your message . Your symtoms sound very similar to mine. I've also tried manuka honey etc just wish I could shake the 'its something deadly' thoughts & just work my way through it!

I went to a gastronogist and had an endo (where they scope you with a camera down your throat i believe to your stomach)

The doctor had to stretch something in my throat cuz I guess it was too small and food kept getting stuck.

I didnt have an issue with acid reflux until i got my gallbladder out at 13.

Have you had your thyroid checked? I know that sounds odd but my mom had a slew of weird sysptoms and ended up having something wrong with her thyroid.

They hardly ever do the test for it cuz its so rare. She ended up having it completely removed.

I wish I had some idea on how to help but I do know what it feels like to see doctor after doctor and have them have no answer.

Thanks for your message . I'very had tube down nose & throat & nothing found really which seems strange when suffering so much! They did thyroid blood tests back in March but could ask doc about that further. Thanks for your suggestions

Hi, you poor thing, understand where you are at the moment. Similar feelings and treatment regimes. Have you tried meditation, or taichi for you stress, or something else to assist. I know it's hard, but this might help deal with it. Good luck.

Hi Norma no I haven't tried meditation etc but have often wondered if it would help . I think I will give it a go. I am seeing an osteopath on monday who said he thinks he may be able to help something to do with vagus nerve . Sad that we & many on here suffer so much. . Thank you for your kind words

Hope the osteo helps, anything is worth a try. I think we can all learn from each other and offer support
