PAE and UROLIFT

Anyone in the UK had either PAE or UROLFT?

Where did you get these procedures done?

What were the results?

Due to see my doctor shortly and don't want to be in the dark about what's available.

    As the prostate continues to grow TURP and the other traditional surgical procedures experience some reversal. I've experienced this with my TURP and after three years I am facing another intervention. Can someone tell me roughly the "shelf life " of PAE? Or is it too early for reliable documentation? I currently have the choice: PAE (by a relatively inexperienced team in Montreal)or GLLaser. I know what many of you have said about GLLaser. I welcome your thoughts. Thanks.

      Hi 

      You must search within these forums to find out more about GL TURP v PAE, there is a lot here, If your last TURP only lasted 3 years, then check out what people are posting here that have had PAE, some date back 3 years I believe. Most of the early ones were done in Portugal I think.

      Thank you J. Much info indeed. And a bit contradictory at times. ie. what works for one is a fails in others. And not all options available close by me. At the moment only GL PAE or TURP. Urolift not done locally. Will continue gleaning  POV from the Forum.
