Pain in throat and ears

Yesterday I had this sudden pain go up my throat and ears. It was like a tightness. I went home took Prolisec and tums. It seem to relieve it some. Today I still have some throat pain and ear pain. I have had reflux the last few years off and on.  Can this be a spasm? and would I still be feeling this sensation. I did not have any chest pain just neck/throat and ears pain and burning. It scared me it hurt so bad.

    I have been suffering from here and have pain when swallowing and my throat is tight. Doctors are useless. Don't worry it's prolly lot from reflux

    I had that!  A pain in Eustachian tube due to reflux.  Used the neti pot, It helped.

    I kñow people will get sick of hearing it but baking soda water is quick, cheap and easy. Just add some throughout the day to water. Start with a small amount in a small glass of water. It helps neutralize the acid that burns.

    Keep a food diary to see if some foods are worse for you. 

    Google baking soda uses or vinegar works too but makes me itch. 

    Keep adding more to your water and you should burp.
