Keep us updated... I thought for sure I had diabetes due to how my feet felt-- I don't which I'm happy about BUT have a feeling hormones are the cause for this.

I'm post almost 2 years now, but had the same thing. My feet still hurt so much that it's painful to wear anything but flat/comfortable shoes, or I get shin splints. l know it's all to do with menopause. I used to jump out of bed with leg cramps in peri. It's good that you're having it checked. I take a good prenatal vitamin, DHEA, vitamin C and a vitamin B complex, as well as fish oil. I had low D3 and iron levels with peri also. Hang in there! Aging sure can suck, especially for us women!

thanks, i have had problems with shin splints too. its just yet another symptom on top of all the crap/pain that i am already dealing with. if a doctors asks 'what are your symptoms', i could be talking for a fortnight!

having told its trapped nerve or nerve inflammation. now apparently i have vitamin b12 deficiency despite taking 1000ug twice a day. pain in lower legs too, but 'nothing sinister'. cant have a blood test till i get a print out from doctors at 8.30 monday morning. then onto hospital, miraculously managing to get to work by 10, as my manager has suggested!
