Hi, I have a near constant pain around my anal region and I have also been finding it quite difficult and painful to poo lately. Could you please tell me if this might be a haemorrhoid or something else?

I’m also having the same condition from last 6 weeks. It feels like something is stuck near the rectal area and I feel discomfort when I sit. I had an appointment with the GI specialist and she said it’s most likely hemorrhoids. However, she wants to do Sigmoidoscopy to confirm. I’m not feeling that much pain, but at times I feel discomfort.
I would suggest just get an appointment with your doctor and have it evaluated. The more you google, the more you will be worried! Just go to the doctor and get away from it. Hope you get well soon

I was only getting about 6 g of fiber before I went into my specialist. He told me I should have 25 to 30 g daily. You want to start out with 10 g and every second day increase it by five so that you work your way up to 25 or 30. Otherwise, if you go to 6 g to 30, you could have constipation, bloating, etc.
good luck.
