Painful gastritis (PPI and H2 blockers no longer work). What should I do?

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi everyone,

I am having acid reflux that does not respond to PPI and H2 blockers for 2 months now, and endoscopy showed mild inflammation of the stomach lining. It hurts when the stomach is empty (not huge amount of pain, but it hurts), but it hurts like hell approximately 45 mins after meal, when acid is start to be released into the stomach. Usually I am able to reduce it a bit with antacids. What should I do? Each day it hurts even more, I am desperate? When I go to the doctor he just says to continue with PPI therapy (that doesn't work).

Please help!
