Im doing some physiotherapy for two weeks and will see how it goes.

hi yes, i have posted several times on this forum - my body aches, specifically my knee/leg pain has almost rendered me disabled - i have been dealing with this for 18 months - i am post menopausal - i have been to every bloody dr, naturopath, chiropractor, acupunturist out there - i am going to an endocrinologist/hormone specialist in July to see if maybe i can get some answers as to why i feel this way - its horrible! i will tell you that taking magnesium glycinate, Omega (Fish Oul) & Tumeric does relieve some discomfort - i can take over the counter pain relievers like ibuprophen because it raises blood pressure - & ever since menopause i battle with that too! its endless!

Hi Debra
This is the story of my life, i get everything you mentioned, plus high and low blood pressure to deal with. Its so stressful, i cry constantly as it makes my life so miserable. The headaches everyday. I look forward to the few good days i get each month to be normal again. I can totally relate to how you feel.

hi Kadija - i was just wondering if your legs feel "puffy"? My legs around my knees feel puffy & seem like they are inflamed & from time to time, my legs feel like water is running in them, a very strange sensation. Also, my tendons/ligaments/muscles will burn from time to time - its crazy the discomfort i have endured, but the achiness never goes away & now i have it in my neck & shoulder - ugh!

Hi Debra
No i dont get puffy legs. Just the aches and pains,
are you taking any meds for high blood pressure? Cause some of the bp meds causes puffy legs and ankles. I have a friend who has this problem with her legs and she thinks it started after she was put on bp meds..

hi Kadija - i have been on b/p RX since 2012, i was on one horrible bp RX for 5 years, where i did have swollen ankles - the b/p RX i am on now i started in 2013 & have tolerated well - my puffy knees/legs (not ankles) didnt start until my achy muscles started in December 2018, so i had already been on this particular RX for 5 yrs - i have read that menopause woman complain about the edema puffiness along with aches & pains - i will bring it up to my dr again to see if it is b/p related - i do know that i dont drink near enough water, so i am trying to up my water intake - i just want this to all go away & let me walk without creaking aches & pains -

Hi Debra
Yes maybe you should mention it to the doctor. Otherwise I think menopause brings all kinds of symptoms, ive read so much about it, its one thing after another. I woke up with this painful headache today, dry mouth, no appetite. Its never ending. Hope you feel better.

hi kadija - Yes, i agree - i think we all could deal & handle these symptoms a whole lot better if we knew for certain that they were in fact menopause issues, but to have Drs not confirming that makes way for greater anxiety - Also, if we were just schooled & advised in these changes, much like sex education or pregnancy than i think we would come to accept these crazy symptoms -
Yesterday, i took a car ride with my husband & had the craziest gas pressure - all i had had was water - go figure! i think i got anxious thinking about the pressure...its never ending!!!
