Panic in the shower!

I was taking my shower and for some reason full blown panic wants to attack me. Has anyone else had panic attacks or anxiety taking a shower and you have to fight your way through it. Like total nervous and legs feel like jelly! I took my shower today a little earlier than the the norm thinking okay it won't happen at this time,  WRONG!  Am I the only one  this is happening too? Been having to fight it the whole last 4 to 6 weeks since meno has hit me so dang hard! It like to get through the day I have to try and outsmart my own attacks if that makes any sense at all!  Like figure a way to get the daily things done w/symptoms a different way or time or whatever!

Yes showers for me last year were an absolute nightmare. I was physically shaking inside and out. Also the heat seemed to make it worse. I took cold showers as cold as I could bare. I started counselling for my anxiety which helped. I also couldn't use the hairdryer. Are you by chance suffering hot flushes I found these exacerbated the anxiety and panic threefold. I remember sitting clothed in the dogs paddling pool last year and putting the cold hose over myself. Now I am postmenopausal these symptoms have eased they are now more of an irritation. Lavender oil capsules are worth a try if you are going natural for anxiety. Hoping you a better day x
