If you are referring to the video by Dr. Omar Krad, I saw it. It is great we are starting to see videos comparing the 2 lens. One thing to note is the patient was myopic in the Panoptics IOL.
It is just a sample size of one, but that patient said he prefered Panoptics overall.
I hope to see more of these comparisons as the Synergy IOL is now available in the US, because there is more to the story than clinical trial results.
I already have a tecnis in 1 eye and like the idea of sticking to same manufacturer for the 2nd eye. Also clinical trial results to me seem superior for the Synergy.
I have a document, yes it is put out by JNJ so beware of that fact, that does a 6 month post op of Tecnis compared to PanOptics. I cannot remember where I got it, but the file is titled, "tecnis synergy clinical guidance deck.pdf"

my understanding is that being myopic in panoptix does not make it better for near as it is a trifocal and not a edof.
i have symfony and understand the same manufacturer logic but synergy is yellow tint.
panoptix is associated with glistening and iol scratches so it a double edged sword,

Still waiting for you to go first. LOL!
Actually waiting for my doctor to get some under his belt and report back to me. When I asked him about the Synergy he said he had just implanted his first one. He has done other premium IOLs so I will see how his other patients respond.
