Paranoid.....

hi hi all I have extreme health anxiety and need a little bit of help and somebody to talk to. I've been going through a lot and I may be jumping to conclusions about possibly being touched by a ghost.I'm laying in bed and I all of a sudden feel like somebody touched my arm and I turned around and nobody was there. I have been in my home for 5 months now and haven't had a problem. when I first moved in my dog did bark a lot but just for a few days I'm sure it was because of the move. for some reason I immediately go to negative thoughts and think of the worst of the worst and think that it's probably a ghost. please I need somebody to help me real bring me to realization that this is all in my head.

This is extreme anxiety, and not a ghost. The subconscious mind is very powerful, and anxiety has so many faces. I don't doubt that you "felt" something on your arm, but anxiety has taken it and put a scary mask on something harmless. What does your doctor say? Breathe s-l-o-w-l-y through your nose, and count to four. Breathe it out your mouth counting to six. Do this several times to calm down. Are you taking any medication for anxiety?

with anxiety you can actually get the physical sensations on your skin as if somebody was touching you. It’s caused by your nerves being affected by anxiety. Sometimes I feel like there is a hair on my face when nothing is actually there. You’ll be fine. There’s no ghost. anxiety plays tricks with our mind.

Geez. I agree with you in that statement that anxiety is a "....." I really hope and pray I could get through it too.

not being mean, but you need to see a therapist. i get sooo many notifications about your issues, and they range from one problem to another. and none are related!i honestly think you need a specialised person, not a forum. From what you post, you seem to have alot of complications in your life and an internet forum is not the way. Seek some help from professionals. If you are serious about this ... you will seek assistance, not validatation on this forum.

I I don't know who you think you are or what right you think you have to tell me what I should do, but if you look at my past posts and actually to what I have said I have been diagnosed with afib and just recently diagnosed with a tumor. I have just as much right to be on here as anybody else. if you have nothing nice to say then don't say it.

Every anxious person has a right to post here. If there is a post that upsets me I ignore it. We, as people with anxiety, must be kind and respectful to all people suffering from this horrendous illness. Let's try to support each other the best we know how, and remember what it feels like to have that panic and terrible fear, and crave immediate reassurance.

That really rude person, actually didnt say anything rude at all! What i said was ... I think you need to seek professional help. I now understand from previous posts that you are not after help, you seem to crave peoples sympathy! Its sad to me that you are either making up bullsh*** for attention etc having sex in hotubs, tumours, ghosts, afib etc etc (cant remember the 400 other ones) or this is really apart of your life and you (or anyone in your life) somehow dont understand that professional help will be beneficial for you!
