Hi Brenda do you just feel more at ease in ure bedroom. I do. I’ll go down stairs and do the things that need doing. But then I can’t wait to just get on my bed. Do u liv alone . As I’m on my own most of the day till my fella gets back from work. Do you feel as though you’ve lost ureself? And feeling detached from ure luv 1s. That’s how I feel and it’s so scary. The doctor said it’s all to do with my anxiety x

You are my lost twin. Lol. I feel all of that. My big concern is that can anxiety really cause all of this. I live with my husband who had a heart attack back in 2010. That is really when all this crap started. As a kid I was always high string but this is ridiculous. Hoping we all can overcome this.

I try to not go out, because when I even think about it I get the shakes. As for visitors, I avoid as much as possible. Hate shopping I use to be so independent but now it's like I just want to do nothing, afraid of having a major anxiety attack. .

You sound excatly like me Brenda it’s so scary. Sometimes I’ll nip to the corner shop but still get anxious. I feel anxious even around my own family and grandkids. I just wished these paroxatine would hurry up and help me. So I can get myself back. I used to be so independent and strong person. Till this anxiety took over. Do you take anything to help keep you calm. And anything to help you sleep x

Sorry it took awhile to get back to you, had to take my dog to the vet. Boy was that fun, shaking all the way. But to answer your question, yes I take a very low dose of ativan. Matter of fact had to call the doctor today to get some more. Now i have to wait to hear back from him. Don't they know that people like us can't wait. Lol. Are you on anything else to help you.

Hi Brenda yes I’m on propranolol, gaberpentin and I still have to take sleeping tablets every night. Other wise I wouldn’t be able to sleep. As my mind just does overtime and that makes me panick even more x

The mind can be a wonderful thing, but when you have anxiety it is your worse enemy. I get where I don't even want to cook or clean. It's not that I'm lazy, it's just can't get motivated. Have you ever have one tiny thought and bam you have an anxiety attack, or your just driving and you feel like you have not enough air.

Yeh that’s me Brenda I feel like I can’t be bothered to do anything. The anxiety takes over everything. Do ure legs get shaky? Cus mine do. That’s another scary feeling. Like u don’t want to move because of the shakes. I don’t drive though. But I’m on my own most of the day with nothing to take my mind off it. How long Av u been on ad. And how long do they take to kick in properly x

Usually my legs feel really heavy, takes everything I got just to move. And some days I just have no energy. I've been on ativan for quite awhile. I've been given it about two years ago for my anxiety, it was to be used only as needed. But this year I went full anxiety so my doctor put me on Zoloft. He told me to use the ativan as a cushion for the extreme anxiety, until the Zoloft kicks in. It takes about 15-30 minutes to start to work.

How long did it take for the Zoloft to kick in properly. How many weeks x

The zoloft can take 6-8 weeks Every person is different, I had a few days that I felt like myself again and I was only two weeks into it. But unfortunately it didn't last long. But at least I know that it will kick in for good sooner or later. So hang in there ,every day gets you closer to feeling better.
