Hi Debra, I'm pretty new to the game to, going on my 4the week, yes mornings are rough on me too. As soon as I get up I get the shakes. Anxiety is raising her ugly head. Zoloft can't kick in fast enough. Hang in there.

Absolutely, my bedroom has become my sanctuary. It's just so frustrating , I think we all just want to feel normal again.

I try to not go out, because when I even think about it I get the shakes. As for visitors, I avoid as much as possible. Hate shopping I use to be so independent but now it's like I just want to do nothing, afraid of having a major anxiety attack. .

Sorry it took awhile to get back to you, had to take my dog to the vet. Boy was that fun, shaking all the way. But to answer your question, yes I take a very low dose of ativan. Matter of fact had to call the doctor today to get some more. Now i have to wait to hear back from him. Don't they know that people like us can't wait. Lol. Are you on anything else to help you.

The mind can be a wonderful thing, but when you have anxiety it is your worse enemy. I get where I don't even want to cook or clean. It's not that I'm lazy, it's just can't get motivated. Have you ever have one tiny thought and bam you have an anxiety attack, or your just driving and you feel like you have not enough air.

Usually my legs feel really heavy, takes everything I got just to move. And some days I just have no energy. I've been on ativan for quite awhile. I've been given it about two years ago for my anxiety, it was to be used only as needed. But this year I went full anxiety so my doctor put me on Zoloft. He told me to use the ativan as a cushion for the extreme anxiety, until the Zoloft kicks in. It takes about 15-30 minutes to start to work.

The zoloft can take 6-8 weeks Every person is different, I had a few days that I felt like myself again and I was only two weeks into it. But unfortunately it didn't last long. But at least I know that it will kick in for good sooner or later. So hang in there ,every day gets you closer to feeling better.
