Hi Lauren, Have been taking paroxetine for 20 years for O.C.D. and depression/anxiety. Its a good drug for keeping intrusive O.C.D thoughts in check and taking edge of anxiety/panic. I've never really experienced any side effects to mention and function very well on it. I currently take 40mg daily as I find that dose works best for me. Have been on 20mg, 30mg and 50mg before. I think they have to increase the dose the longer you are on it, to maintain it's effectiveness. I don't take it in conjunction with any other meds. Although, have had bit of trouble sleeping lately and been prescibed 1.86mg zopiclone. 10mg paroxetine is a very low dose. It may take 10 to 14 days to feel the full benefit of this medication. It works well for me. Paul
