I’m not a doctor, but have been being worked up for 2 months for GI issues, and I know how anxious not knowing has made me.  I’d make an appointment with another GYN for a second opinion and ask the same questions you asked here.  Hope you get answers soon!

    Hi patricia 19782

Did they say it was a mass or a cyst on the ovary, or if in the abdomen if so where?..if it is a cyst on the ovary and you had level 8 CA125 they will leave it and do a 'wait and watch'...as most of the time cysts on the ovary shrink. If, however if it is a mass in the abdomen and not on the cyst then you have to go back to your doc and get an explanation as to what they are going to do about it!....make an appointment with your doc and ask exactly where the mass or cyst is...my best wishes to you....
