Hi May!  Sounds like a migraine. I’ve heard the term menstrual migraine used before if it correlates with your cycle. I have been getting them since peri last year...so mine are hormonal. They can be one sided or sometimes your whole head hurts so bad you don’t know where the pain is from!  Keep a headache diary...frequency, what your triggers are...cycle, food, weather, sleep, etc... 🤗

Yes this is common during your cycle. It is called a cluster headache when it is in and around your eyes like that. Cluster headaches are a type of migraine. I get them with my period sometimes. I've only begun getting them since peri symptoms started. Sometimes they can also be brought on my rainy or cloudy weather. Hope you feel better soon. Take care.

Believe it or not it's your sinus acting up. Along with the head and eye pain that comes with meno. Also sometimes my eyelids feel so heavy I have to close them for a while.
