I got my period after 8 yeaes is this healty

    Please get it looked at if you've already gone through menopause and not had period for that long. It could be something simple and is most likely to be but it's best to check it out to be sure. I don't want to scare you but from experience it's best to see a dr x

    After 8 years isn't a period. Its post menopausal bleeding and if I were you I wouldn't be asking for advice on a forum my love, I would be banging on my Dr door right now.

    It may be something really simple to deal with. My Mum had this about 5 years past her last period and it turned out to be harmless polyps. But you need to get it checked quite urgently because 8 years is a long time.

    Lisa, my mum had this about 25 years after her last period lol, came as quite a shock to her but as with your mum she had it investigated and it was something and nothing.

    So Eveline, I would echo everyone else's comments and say get it checked out, you will only worry if you don't. good luck.
