Period on Tibolone?

Posted , 3 users are following.

I've been taking Tibolone daily for 3.5months, following surgery to remove my ovaries, I went straight in to the menopause (I'm 37). Today, a full period has arrived, I'd had nothing since my surgery 6 months ago, slightly concerned as not sure If this is normal, or even possible? Should I see my Doctor?

    Hi.

If you’ve had both overies removed you won’t have any more periods. But if you’ve got one left you can.

    Did they remove both, ??

      Hi Julie

I had my first ovary in 2003, the second in May this year, so no ovaries at all. This is what is confusing me.

      Hi

Have you still got your uterus and cervix??

Iv just looked it up that it’s still possible to have a period if you’ve both.

but any usual bleed I would go get it checked.
