Permanent pain

I had a surgery almoast 5 years ago, yet I'm suffering from permanent pain in that eye. I've asked many ophthalmologists what's going on, but they say there's no visable cause. My primary surgon says it just happens and that's it (sic!).
What should I do?
It's a feeling like there's something inside my eye as well as some kind of pressure and/or heat inside. Sometimes there's no pain at all, sometimes it continues for a couple of days. For instance, it gets very pronounced when e.g. I get angry... which is quite strange.
I have no (diagnosed) eye diseases.

When you get angry your blood pressure goes up, which might have something to do with it. Have you talked to your primary care doctor about the pain, or to a neurologist?

I've talked to my primary surgeon but he says that might be some nervers cut during the surgery. But it's quite interesting what you noticed.

Only a guess, but you may want to get checked for glaucoma. The usual quick check is to measure the eye pressure. However, there are different types of glaucoma of which some are not associated with elevated pressure, and you would need a more thorough examination to determine if it might be an issue.

Thank you RonAKA.
BTW, I'd really appreciate if you could also comment on my other post ("What can you see").

that sounds awful to live with. Did you see a retina specialist and have a look? must be a reason for the pain
